Dr. Garramone is a Cum Laude graduate of the prestigious University of Florida where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology & Cell Science. He then attended medical school at Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a teaching fellowship in Human Gross Anatomy during his medical school training. After completing medical school, Dr. Garramone completed his five-year General Surgery Residency at Michigan State University Botsford General Hospital where he served as Chief Resident of the Department of General Surgery, Chief Resident of Medical Education, and as an Associate Clinical Professor of the Department of General Surgery.

Dr. Garramone then completed a two-year Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he also served as Chief Resident of the Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and as an Associate Clinical Professor of the Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

During his surgical training, Dr. Garramone performed thousands of operations therefore gaining a wealth of surgical experience. With this experience, Dr. Garramone understands which procedures are reliably effective and safe, and which procedures are not effective or do not reproduce the desired results. Therefore, Dr. Garramone can offer extensive opinions on various procedures and give realistic answers and expectations for his patients.

Dr. Garramone has also been directly involved in research to develop new techniques in breast reconstructive surgery and in research for burn reconstruction using tissue engineered skin.

Dr. Garramone has lectured nationally on topics of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Reconstructive Burn Surgery. He has been published in the acclaimed “Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery ” journal with innovative new techniques for nipple reconstruction. He is also a recipient of the “Robert C. Erwin Literary Award” by the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, and the “Alvin Yarrow’s Literary Award” by Michigan State University and Botsford General Hospital for excellence in his writings in medical research. Dr. Garramone has been a leading advocate in surgical education through training other physicians, fellows, residents, and medical students. He has been considered a great clinical teacher by many, and continues to lecture nationally on several topics in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and continues to write articles on Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery to further other physicians and patients knowledge in this vast field.

Dr. Charles Garramone was one of the original pioneers of FTM & FTN Top Surgery almost 20 years ago. There were only a few surgeons performing these types of surgeries in the United States, and Dr. Garramone quickly became one of the most sought after surgeons for FTM & FTN Top Surgery. He developed new techniques in chest contouring, nipple reconstruction, anatomical nipple placement, and also the “straighter” chest scar, which have changed the way surgeons perform this procedure up to this date. “Hello, I’m Kelli Garramone. I am the Office Manager at Dr. Garramone’s practice “The Garramone Center”. I have over 20 years experience in the medical field, and enjoy helping our patients. I run the administrative and buisiness aspects of Dr. Garramone’s practice, as well as assisting with patient care.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family. As most of you know, Dr. Garramone and I have been married since before he was known as “Dr. Garramone”. We have two children and live locally. We love meeting all types of people, enjoy different foods, and enjoy exploring all the wonderful exciting areas of South Florida.

Along with being the Office Manager at The Garramone Center, I also run our ManSculpture FTM Binder company which we started back in October 2012. Both Dr. Garramone and I have worked for the past few years researching, designing, and finding the right manufacturers for our ManSculpture line of garments. We love creating these products and making them available to the community.
